About YAARI

YAARI (Youth Alliance and action  for Rivers) is a youth-driven initiative of Nadi Ki Pathshala aimed at connecting young minds with rivers through research, learning, and action.

The initiative focuses on engaging students and youth from the Upper Bhima River Basin—from the origin of the Bhima River to its exit from Solapur district—encouraging them to study river systems and contribute towards sustainable river management.

Objective 

To provide a new perspective on water and river-related challenges

To build long-term awareness and responsibility towards rivers

To ensure that youth carry this understanding into their future careers and decision-making
