The team is led by Dr. Sumant Narsingrao Pande, Founder of Nadi Ki Pathshala and former Executive Director of the Water Literacy Centre, whose extensive experience in water governance and policy provides strong strategic direction. He is supported by key leaders including Dr. Shrinivas Vadagbalkar, a geologist contributing scientific analysis and river basin expertise, and Dr. Ajit Gokhale, a botanist and environmental practitioner who leads on-ground implementation of sustainable, nature-based solutions. Together, they form a leadership group that blends policy insight, scientific knowledge, and practical field experience

Our team brings together deep expertise in water management, ecology, and environmental action.
Dr. Sumant Narsingrao Pande, former Executive Director of the Water Literacy Centre and Founder of Nadi Ki Pathshala, has dedicated his career to water literacy and river basin governance, also serving as Assistant Commissioner in the Government of Maharashtra, Convener of the Water Literacy Indian River Basin Council, and a member of Jal Biradari.
Dr. Shrinivas Vadagbalkar, a geologist and committed Jala-Yoddha, actively contributes to national movements such as “Nadi Bachao” and “Pollution-Free Indian Rivers,” providing scientific analysis and expert guidance for river basins like Ram Nadi and Mutha Nadi.
Dr. Ajit Gokhale, a botanist, naturalist, and founder of Natural Solutions, focuses on implementing practical, on-ground solutions for environmental challenges, including water scarcity, flood management, pollution control, solid waste management, biodiversity conservation, and promoting environmental literacy
